I'd go with Ice Follies as well. They were one of the first things I planted here (30+ years ago before I knew anything about gardening) and they still come up every year.
Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained

Just to clarify...Narcissus is the correct Latin name.
    Daffodil is the common name.
    Perthshire. SCOTLAND .
  • I agree that it's Narcissus 'Ice Follies'--it's a good variety.

Technically the latin for all daffs is Narcissus...
This covers all from tiny ones, giant ones, size of cup, multiple flowers per stem, double flowered ones, multi coloured ones, scented, plain or frilly. etc etc.

So  Ice follies   would be Narcissus Ice Follies.

To complicate it further the RHS break then into 13 different divisions....see  link to all below.
Narcissus Ice Follies comes under Class 2 Large cupped daffodils.
    Very handy for daffodil shows/competitions.

Daffodil Divisions Using the RHS System of Classification
    • Division 1 – Trumpet Daffodils.
    • Division 2 – Large-Cupped Daffodils.
    • Division 3 – Small-Cupped Daffodils.
    • Division 4 – Double Daffodils.
    • Division 5 – Triandrus Daffodils. Characteristics of N. ...
    • Division 6 – Cyclamineus Daffodils.
    • Division 7 – Jonquilla Daffodils.
    • Division 8 – Tazetta Daffodils.
    • etc
    Full list below with pics.

Below is Narcissus Romiexii  entered in an Alpine Garden club  show .( not by me)
The RHS put it in division   13.
............Division 13 – Daffodils distinguished solely by Botanical Name
Consists of the Species, Wild Variants, and Wild Hybrids found in natural daffodils.
