Plants
Hello gardeners. Any idea what this is? It has fuzzy leaves and has never flowered. I don't remember planting it. Thanks in advance.

I only noticed it last year and I dont remember planting either of these. Could be a birdy present?

Verbascum seeds are like dust so likely blown-in if it's one of those. It might be Verbascum thapsus
(Great Mullein) which I get appearing from nowhere, here.
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

Thanks all. I'll go with the verbascum and if it doesn't flower again this year, it gets its marching orders!

We always used to let this Verbascum grow, just for the fact that it is the food plant for the increasingly rare Mullein moth.
Sorry about the wrong name, brain dead these days.

It just might be granted a stay of execution. Thanks
