plant pots

Does anyone know where I can buy plant pots with an integral saucer?   I want them to grow my tomato plants in....  My Dad used to have these.. he filled the saucer to reduce watering

Elho do some but don't know what size you need
  • Anyone know where you can buy potato pots 30L or 35L very cheap.  Cheapest I can find is still going to cost me £40 for 10.

You can grow them in old compost bags instead of pots. @Kirsti Peters
Growing your own in pots seems very expensive with all the compost it takes but I suppose it depends on how many there are of you to feed.

I use these. Can be folded away after use and reused for a few years (I'm on year 4, I think)

I use those big plastic trugs with handles, pretty cheap to buy. Old compost bags sounds more environmentally friendly though.

Last year one of the Beechgrove presenters grew potatoes in supermarket shopping bags, the woven plastic type.
I grew potatoes last year in an old leaky water butt cut in two across the middle and the bottom half drilled to make drainage holes.

Doncaster, South Yorkshire. Soil type: sandy, well-drained
