Anyone grow Kerria Japonica?

  • My mums favourite. I now have it in my garden (semi-shade & quite poorly draining soil) - it's fairly well behaved.

    I do miss having them as they were perfect for brightening-up north-facing, dark shaded areas.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    I very nearly bought one in a garden centre yesterday, but hesitated as it was the larger pleniflora one. Of course now I’m regretting not buying it and taking my chances!!
