Semi Shade Blooms

Good Afternoon Gardeners,
I would welcome any suggestions for a bed against our back fence.  Gets some morning sun, but nothing after midday.

All suggestions welcome - although I have to admit I am not a fan of Hosta!

Many thanks

How is the soil? I have a similar situation, where I have astrantia, pulmonaria, actea, hardy geraniums and snowy woodrush, Luzula sylvatica. (Loamy well drained soil, with a decent amount of humus).

I have Fuschia, aconitum, clematis, phlox panticula seem to cope OK, brunnera, also a salvia Nachtvlinder.
A lot of plants can cope with less sun than recommended but it's handy to have a sunnier spot to move them to if they dont thrive
  • Japanese amenones for later in the season. Aster 'Twilight', though it does run, Aster divaricartus (Eurybia divaricartus), Liriope muscari, Lamium maculatum, Welsh poppies.
