big project

Ok I have posted questions about a site I am clearing so I thought I would post a photo of it. I have brushcut brambles and willow herb etc. My next move is to await some growth then spray heavily. Will that clear it.
For you whisky buffs the site is in walking distance of the Laphroaig,Lagavulin and Ardbeg distilleries and is 500mtrs from where the new Port Ellen distillery will be built.

    Wonderful whiskies.

Weed killer is probably the right option, bur not until you see fresh growth.
It is unlikely you will kill all the brambles though, may need to dig them out.
How can you lie there and think of England

And the soil is probably full of Willowherb seeds that will germinate over the next several years.  But learn to recognise them, pull them up or mow them down ... you’ll beat ‘em eventually. 👍
