Under planting roses with a white geranium

I would like to plant white geraniums in front of my rose bushes, to provide ground cover.  I have Johnson Blue nearby which does really well (spreads nicely, lots of flowers), so I would like something similar but with white flowers.  Can anyone suggest a good variety ?
Thanks

    Geranium Cantabrigiense Biokovo.
  • Yes! 'Derrick Cook' is amazing and flowers for ages.
I've had my eye on 'Coomblands White' as well, but don't know how hardy it is.
  • Thanks for he suggestions. I shall have look them all.

What about Geranium clarkei ‘Kashmir White’ — not pure white though, it has light purple veins

@Cambridgerose12 Hey there, am thinking of buying some Derrick Cook geraniums... how have they been over the last couple of years? Hardy and floriferous, I hope! Many thanks

Hi @Janie B, it seems perfectly hardy with me (we had a cold snap that killed a lot of things). Last year it was not as floriferous as usual, but I think this was because of the April heatwave.

Thx! Think I’ll get some. They do look pretty.
