Planting ideas for a rusty old incinerator bin

    Thanks all for the advice! Lining the inside sounds like a good idea. I've got some old tarpaulin I could cut to shape and put some holes in for drainage.

    It's a big volume to fill with compost, but I have a stack of turf sods I dug up in November which has been covered for 4 months now, I thought I might use that with some grit mixed in for drainage and maybe some rocks in the bottom third of the bin. 

    I think Nasturtiums and Hedychium or Canna are the way to go.
