Possible to determine the Apple tree rootstock?

I was in my local garden centre looking for an apple tree. I googled the species (Cox, Spartan, Katy) and decided it was the right size. The label is below.

Now I have learned that "Cox, Spartan, Katy" is just the type of apple and it is the "rootstock" that determines the size.

Is there any way I can find out the rootstock without a label?

It is probably on MM106 rootstock - mature height 3-4 metres, spread 2-3 metres. Family apple trees like this are more difficult to maintain than single variety trees. There is always a mismatch of vigour between the grafted varieties so they need careful attention to pruning to maintain even growth of all varieties on the tree.
