Sieving leaf mould or compost
I have a lot of trees and collect the leaves into big bays that came with the garden. They're on a compacted base but roots from next doors trees come through into the mould, also other unidentified fine white roots. A hand sieve is hard work and at this rate it will be next autumn by the time I finish (if I last that long). Has anyone used a rotary sieve, they're not too expensive, are they any good? Ideally being lazy, I'd really like a trommel and there seems to be a good one, a scheppach that is (only) £319, has anyone used one of these please? Would save me a lot of time and my sore fingers.
East Dorset, new (to me) rather neglected garden.
