Trouble with terracotta online is they are heavy and fragile to transport.
Does it have to be terracotta or could you go for glazed pots or fibrecotta.
Primrose have these you can order from next week

Our local garden centre stocked a huge range but as i haven't visited for a year maybe they are all gone!
You can wrap them in bubble wrap in winter or move them into the garage or against a house wall.

Yes, I had a whole batch delivered smashed a few year ago.

I had seen they weren’t available but didn’t see they were becoming available next week, so thanks for that!  I will be on the edge of my seat next Friday :)

Ive had no problem cracking due to frost for a few years.

Compared to wooden planters the similar size I think they’re pretty good value.

I've just bought 10 of these, maybe not big enough for you, but at about a fiver for a 20cm pot, I thought it wasn't too bad. (I like to use them for pelargonium cuttings that I give to friends... ).

Do you not have any local GCs, Joel? It didn't take me long to suss out where the cheapest pots are locally. The ones I tend to get are heavily discounted seconds from the Yorkshire Pot Company, might be worth checking them online. (Although I doubt they sell their seconds online).

These aren’t in stock ... but they might be soon. Judging by the prices of those that are in stock I think you might get 5 in the size you want for c. £70. They have discounts on their web site too.

Just make sure you get frost proof not just frost resistant if they will stay out all winter.

Very good point.  I had to move a load of pots as we're having some building work done.  Lifted one which has a lovely rim to it - the rim lifted off in my hands.  The rim is complete!
