Busy Lizzie, Geraniums, Lobellia, Petunia

Hi,

We have sown various seeds of the above and they are at various stages in growth.

The geraniums are starting to get a decent enough size and I was wondering if anyone had advice on if it was ok for them to be put in a cold greenhouse.

We have also got some Lobellia which have germinated.  I am looking to pot them up into modules and I was wondering again if these could go into the greenhouse?

In addition to the above, we have Busy Lizzie and Petunia which have only just started to germinate. Again, I was wondering if when big enough to transplant in a week or so time, if they could go out in the greenhouse.

Thanks for any advice in advance.

Mark

It still gets very chilly at night and frost is a possibility for quite a while yet. If it's a warm day then you can put the larger plants in the greenhouse during daylight but bring them indoors again at night.

    Great thanks for the advice.
  • Of the seeds you have sown, I also have some Petunias - they are around the size of your Geranium (Pelargoniums) in the first picture.  I have put a few of them in my cold frame and been leaving overnight and they are fine - I did just leave them out during the day for a couple of days but now they're out permanently.  I guess it depends how much risk you're prepared to take!  I don't really want my Petunias, I just felt obliged to grow them as I had spent so much time collecting the seeds from last year's plants  :D I will try and give them away if they can survive my tough treatment of them!!
