Hi all, I’m hoping someone can help me, i got this lemon tree last summer with a couple of fruits on it. Over winter I put it in the greenhouse and recently started to bring it outside in the day as the weathers been warming up and then back in at night. I was watering every 2 weeks and feeding with citrus feed every 4 weeks (watering in 2 week intervals), I have noticed some spotting on my fruit and marks on my leaves, I’ve tried to find out what this could be online and I’m worried it’s citrus canker. Could anyone please help with with this, Dan.
Thanks Pete, it was outside recently with the high winds, I’m hoping it could be from that. I also bought it inside the home for a couple of nights before I read central heating wasn’t good for them!
Sounds like you're between the devil and the deep then I used to overwinter lemongrass successfully in an unheated north-facing bedroom and they always bounced back in the spring. If you have such a room I'm sure it'd be ok in there until it warms up a bit - which is hopefully not long now!
I'd love to grow a kaffir lime as I use the leaves, but they're expensive and tricky to look after
