Looking advice

Hey! Hoping someone can offer some advice, moving to a new build house that has a good sized back yard that will be all grass with a small paved area, we have two golden retrievers and our last back yard was grass but it didn’t stay as nice looking with the heavy traffic so I guess what I’m asking is if anyone has any advice on things I could do to make it easier to maintain and looking nice, I’d like to keep as much of the area as I can grass but is there any cheap alternatives for some parts of the garden that I could do myself and how to keep the grass in good shape with 2 dogs walking and playing on it all the time, plants and bushes aren’t ideal as they messed up my mother in laws back yard in 3 months of staying there, they also love to destroy all things nice she accessorises with so all think must be dog friendly
