ADVICE PLEASE

I have a Sysyrinchium which is outgrowing the space where it is. I imagine it is possible to split this and move to a better place. My question is please.....after I have split it and moved it should I reduce the height of it ....the tops of the "leaves" are looking very tatty so would make it look better but I dont want to risk losing it. Thanks

I would do exactly as you suggest. I find theyre pretty resilient plants so should soon start growing away happily. 😊
