wet turf

Hi, i have had turf laid march 2020 and it looked great in the summer time, now winter has been it has turned quite mossy and extremely wet - we have had a wet winter but where i live its been quite dry for the last few weeks.  I am concerned as it hasn't grown and doesn't even need cutting.
can you please give me some advice and let me know if this is a common problem.
Kind regards
Jasie

Moss is a sign of poor drainage, so some body on here had a link to improving your lawn in 12 weeks think it was this one

If it's cold grass won't be growing.

I think you may be expecting too much too soon! I live in the Isle of Wight, a famously mild area and my grass is only just beginning to grow. We have had relatively late frost and cold winds and all our usual manifestations of spring are a little late.

..... whereas here in SW Ireland we mowed the lawn for the first time a fortnight ago and local farmers already have cows out grazing.  Location is all important.
