Yes, it's Leycesteria formosa (Himalayan Nutmeg) I have it in my garden thanks to the birds. You can cut it right back to the ground and it will re-grow, or just give it a trim - up to you depending on how tall you want it. The berries do taste of nutmeg, but quite astringent
