my gut feeling is they're too long.
I'd cut them to the lowest leaves, then remove all but a pair of leaves.

Worth trying I suppose but the RHS recommends semi-ripe cuttings in summer for propagating evergreen viburnum. Have a look at this link -

Plan to get the house on the market this year so will need to take loads of cuttings going by my usual 'success' rate.
