Daphne drama!

Hi

I have plenty of Daphne in the garden, all thriving, except for two Daphne Pontica which have been ravaged by something - possibly a lucky deer who got a good munch before the deer fence went over the winter!

One of them has started to recover, as you can see from the pic, but the growth is all over the shop and I'm wondering if it's best to leave it well alone and let it sort itself out, or chop it back in the hope it'll regrow more evenly.

Any advice would be really appreciated.

Thanks :)
