Just found some spuds!

Hi - a newbie question please.
We have recently moved house and now have a vegetable garden. In the process of tidying this up I was digging over some potato ridges and discovered they contained dozens of decent sized potatoes. Will they still be edible? They look sound with no sign of infection. What do you think?
Thanks
I could agree with you, but then we'd both be wrong...

    Hello neighbour   :)

Lucky you ... if they're not squidgy and rotten then they should be fine.  They must have escaped the hard frosts we had the other week .... and your resident slugs must've found other things to eat ... either that or your hedgehogs have been working overtime ... lots of hedgehogs in Norwich.
