spring bulbs layering - what to do with bulbs afterwards

So I thought I was very clever with planting huge pots with different combinations of layers of diffs/tulips/narcissi/crocus/iris/snowdrops.
So they are all pushing through , looking great - but when they are all finished- do I dig up the bulbs and hope I have the correct bulbs and pop away for replanting in Sept and use the pots for summer bedding or do I leave them in there and not utilise the pots or do I plant annuals over the top ?
Also thinking the soil will need refreshing but that will upset the bulb layering planting ... I did not think this through ....any help or advice as I am new to this ...gratefully accepted ...

You should be able to sort the bulbs well enough to be able to replant them somewhere suitable.
Daffs and Narcissi will be larger, but are tall & thin compared with tulips, the other large ones, which are a rusty shade of brown, or white if they lose their outer coats.
The little ones could all be planted together if you wanted, for a pretty miscellany, but if you want to sort them, crocus are flatter & brown, snowdrops are small, round and whiteish and the iris are inbetween.
Don't forget that some of them may have remains of foliage to help too and they need to keep this to help them build up reserves for next years flowers :)
