Hello everyone, I am back with another question.
What is the name of this plant? The stems are very brittle, break easily.

    Possibly a dwarf Buddleja  (Buddleja 'Buzz' series)

    The leaves do look similar to a buddleja but it wont like living in a pot.

    Hello Everyone, Thank you for your suggestions. I think it may be a dwarf buddleia. We had a large buddleia before and the leaves do look familiar, never thought about it being that though. I probably have to cut it down a bit now.

    I agree with Cistus.... I'm not seeing that as a Buddleia..

    I’d go with Cistus as well. 
    Gardening on the wild, windy west side of Dartmoor.

    Cistus.
    And, if it is, be careful if you prune. They don't like being pruned.

    Hello everyone, thank you so much for all your very helpful comments. I go with the Cistus-deciders, looking at other pictures it looks more like a cistus than a buddleia.  Thank you for the advice not to prune it, I will put the pot back into the sunny spot too.
    Now waiting for the flowers.....
