    If you’re taking it down or even just cutting the top off, check there are no active birds nests in it first. :)

    That conifer would make the ideal candidate for a topiary willy, a less provocative spiral or even trimmed Japanese niwaki style.

    Didn't Rachel de Thame do a programme championing topiary for BBC Gardener's World?
