Viburnum Sargentii Onondaga positioning

Hello,  have recently purchased a Viburnum Sargentii Onondaga and have found varying definitions of eventual size online. I have a largish garden that we are trying to improve so would like opinions on whether it will look ok in a border or if it needs to be in a more open position? Thanks

    It's deciduous so would be best in a mixed planting that allows other plants to take up interest while this shrub is bare in winter.   Just give it space all round to get to a decent size and fill the space, while it grows, with perennials and bulbs.   It' snot fussy about soil or aspect so you can pretty well plant it anywhere.

    Once it gets to a size you're happy with it can pruned to maintain size, shape and vigour.   Like all shrubs it's best checked every spring anyway for the 3 Ds - dead, diseased or damaged wood.

    Super shrub ..but gets quite large.

    That's why I bought mine!  Planted it out in what will be a mixed trees and shrubs bed last autumn and very much looking forward to seeing all the lovely new foliage and blossom.

    Sorry... left  2 pics behind to show leaf colour later in the year...September.
    It was planted  on left hand end in a mixed bed with lots of other stuff. South facing.

    I've always wondered how they compare with Viburnum opulus, which I have a fondness for as it grows wild around here.
