Metal lawn edging

Is it worth the money
and does it actually last so won’t need do crisp and clean edging which I like
also is it easy to do
any recommendations be great

It was easy to install but easier on a warm day.
Whatever you use that you can mow over in the end the edges still need cutting by hand or strimming
for that neat look but an edging gives you a line to follow so you don't end up with wavy lines.

Here's a thread where I asked about edging, might be of interest. I ended up not installing it, my OH promised he'd keep it nicely edged for me, and by and large he's kept his end of the deal...!

Core-edge is the one I used. It’s good and really neat, I have a lot of curves and it was easy enough to bend as you go. As I said on Janie’s thread, it does work out cheaper and you get a full metre per piece, unlike ever-edge. I think if you have a perfect, weed-free lawn, it’s great. However, my grass (could not dignify mine with the word ‘lawn’) is a rough mix, full of coarse flowering grasses, weeds, clover etc., and I have found that, no matter how often I mow it, the weeds romp over the edge very quickly and the grass seeds itself into the bed it is edging. So much so, I’m now considering lifting a strip of grass adjoining it and laying small pavers or bricks to try and keep the ravening weeds out, which kind of defeats the point and expense of the edging in the first place!
