It's that time of year again when the frogs start acting frisky.
  • Hi. We have made a new pond in our garden out of an old bath.  We did have an old pond that I dug out about 15 years ago. Managed to safely transfer the frogs to their new home where they are mating and ready to spawn.
Can anyone tell me the difference between a pollywog and a froglet please.

A pollywog is a tadpole and a tadpole becomes a froglet when it develops legs but still has a tail. https://www.discoverwildlife.com/how-to/watch-wildlife/how-to-rear-froglets/
