Solar water pump misting kits

Can anyone help!!!!. I'm having troubles finding an online company selling solar water pump misting kits. All I seem find is American pages.

    is there anywhere in UK with guaranteed sunshine to operate such a system?

    Very good point. I just googled the questions and it states...... Despite Its Grey Weather, the UK Is a Good Place to Install Solar Panels. Contrary to what many would think, despite its reputation for having grey and cloudy weather, the UK has more than enough sunlight to power solar panels

    but will the sun be shining when you need the misting system to work? or does the system come with battery storage?

    You could make your own using something like this:
    together with a suitable 12v battery and a solar panel.  You'd need to work out the battery capacity needed and the size of solar panel (in Watts) needed to recharge it (that would depend on duty cycle - how long would the pump be on per day?)

    Hi Bob, thank you for this information. I'm not quite sure how long the pump will be on. Its to conduct seed propagation in a 35m length polytunnel.

    If you can work that out, I'd be happy to help calculate the battery capacity and solar panel size for you.  As an example, if you wanted the misters on for 10 minutes every hour from 8am to 8pm, that's a total of 120 minutes per day.  The 12v pump above takes 60W so draws 5A for that total of 2 hours, meaning you'd need at least a 10Ah battery (at least double that to be sure it won't go flat, so a 12v 20Ah battery would be ideal.)
    Assuming 6 hours of good light per day, a 12V 60W solar panel will provide 30Ah of charge, giving you some leeway to cope with a run of several overcast days.  A cheap 10A solar charge controller would be needed to keep the battery in good condition.

    Bob that's amazing information! I think you have already worked it out. I think being on for 10min every hour is workable.

    Hi @Samuel.eames, if you happen to be still looking, I’m thinking of getting a solar-powered polytunnel watering system from harvst.co.uk. They mentioned misters in the pack that I’m interested in. They might do a misting-only option as well if you ask them. 
    Carmarthenshire (mild, wet, windy). Loam over shale, very slightly sloping, so free draining. Mildly acidic or neutral.
