I've killed my lemon tree ðŸ˜

in Fruit & veg
I moved my dwarf container lemon tree into one of those pop-up tomato greenhouses over winter, and it has been absolutely fine. Nice green leaves and plenty of buds. I held of watering it over winter (as I read to) and it looked fine the last time I watered it but I have just gone to water it again and the buds have all dried up, as have some of the leaves. The leaves that are still green are not as healthy and some drop off as soon as you touch them.Â
Is it dead and beyond all hope? 😫

I move my 3 citrus plants to a polytunnel for winter and they do get watered occasionally as they are evergreen and, tho they slow down, are still transpiring and photosynthesising. They need feeding too with a specialist citrus feed thru winter so they can produce healthy flowers and fruit and then a more nitrogen based one the rest of the year to keep the foliage healthy.
