I have a dwarf apple tree that has grown leaning over to the south, I have tied ropes around it to bring it back to a more upright position, but what about pruning to balance the tree, maybe new main leader? Scary. Thanks Laura

There are plastic hose tubes over the ropes at point of contact with the bark, but maybe I'll add some tights!! Thanks

This is an alternative method which I used on one of my apples:
A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.
