Sweetpeas wigwams

This is my first time growing sweetpeas- I am getting way ahead of myself but already thinking about supports. Has anyone used those plastic grips? Any tips or recommendations?

    I have a wigwam but it is held in place by two metal grow through plant supports, a larger one at about 4’ and a small one at the top. It works very well, giving the structure ample support which it needs because some years I use it for growing runner beans.

    BenCotto   Would I be right in thinking that, with a healthy crop of runner bean plants, those small supports could be susceptible to wind damage?  I'm not involved with sweet peas but use the attached for my beans, the central plastic pole keeping it stable.  12 'sticks' with 2 plants per stick.

    I use this year's Willow and hardy Fuscia prunings to make a wigwam along with a coil of string.
