Bulbs

Been given tulip daffodil alium  bulbs,what should I do with them regards planting as it's late in the season??

    Get them in as soon as you can, except any that are mushy. Don't expect much this year, some leaves if you are lucky.
    If they get chance to photosynthesise you might get flowers next year, but nothing to be gained by waiting.
    Tulips prefer a dryer, sunnier site, daffs and alliums can cope with a bit more moisture and some shade.

    I agree.  You can't keep bulbs for more than a season.  Plant them now and hope for the best.

  • You could grow in pots to save effort and if they don't come up nothing list, if they do, enjoy then plant in the garden as flowers go over
  • You surely can't keep the bulbs for more than one season. I strongly agree with that "Dovefromabove" said. Go for it.
