Vigorous climber advice please

As you can see, I have some high hedging, mostly covered by ivy.  On the other side of the hedge is a driveway/lane, from which I'd like some additional screening.  What would you recommend if anything, to help cover the gaps in the hedging?  There is no room on the other side, so  the planting has to be garden side.

I'd prefer to keep the planting evergreen and native, and there is room for it to be very vigorous.   I'm sorry that the photo is sideways on, but you get the idea.

There must be a native, evergreen clematis that could fill those gaps...but there are people on here far more qualified than me to advise on the best ones, I’m sure 😁

    Clematis armandii
  • Thank you Papi Jo for righting a wrong and for the clematis armandii suggestion.  That looks like a very good candidate. Are there any other possibilities?
