Good planting partners for paeonia coral sunset?

I’ve got a peony Coral Sunset emerging at the front of a south facing border.
Got it in July last year, so it had already finished flowering, but I’m hoping it’ll flower for the first time this season.
Since the flowers are over quite quickly, what would be a good herbaceous perennial to grow through it or over it, that would look nice with the peony leaves as a backdrop?
