Dividing woody Achillea
I've had an Achillea 'Gold Plate' in the same spot for about 5 years, always comes up and makes a tall (4-5ft), sturdy plant. I didn't think or realise it might be a good idea to divide it until last year, left it to spring and it's *really* woody. What are my chances? I'd be dividing to rejuvenate more than anything, but am I more likely to kill it? Should I leave it be?
