Shredding brambles for mulching

  I often shred brambles but always compost them first as I think there is a possibility of them rooting if they were put on the ground immediately.

  I've personally never had regrowth from shredded bramble mulch, so I don't worry about it at all these days

  I have an Alko impact shredder and keep the blades sharp.  Does a great job.

  I've got a garden master chipper/shredder, but I tend to use the shredder for brambles.
