has anyone had any success growing this, and in particular- ever left it out all winter well protected? many thanks

    I grow it, but given the rainfall / heavy clay soil, I'd not risk leaving it in the ground over winter.

    wow- that tender? so you just pot it up and bring it inside? do you cut it back first?

    When I had it, it stayed in the porch, cut back in early Spring, then started off with heat.

    I've noticed new shoots starting on mine in an unheated polytunnel

    Black Coral is said to be even darker if you can find it

    It’s extremely difficult to over winter. I’ve tried for two years (in a conservatory) and I’ve had a 100% failure rate from 6 plants.

    I find with the green variety, you must keep them dry over Winter, or the rot.
    I have lost several this Winter.
