Is Prunus Gyoiko a good tree?

Hello, I can’t find a whole lot of info online about this tree and wondered if anyone has advice or pictures to share. I am looking for a cherry /ornamental tree that won’t clash with a bright pink camellia or a creamy magnolia, that doesn’t get enormous or stay tiny and grows about as wide as it does tall. Plus I prefer trees that don’t have a very straight stem. Is it ok to plant a cherry tree such as this within a metre of a patio? Thanks
