It arrived late here - it's normally mid August to early September @Buttercupdays  :D
You can normally feel the change in the air right at the start of August here. It's been very odd to be so warm - especially overnight through the last couple of months.
    .,
The Telegraph daily gives the Warmest, sunniest, coldest, wettest places in the UK every day, last week not once but twice all of them were in Bonny Scotland!

You can have your choice which one or two  you can chose!

    Cheers!

The north has had some good sunshine @Braidman, but don't be fooled  ;)
September is usually a fine month for us here in the west, because the summers are usually so wet. Clear nights, low-ish  single figs at night, low to mid teens through the day, some frosts, and some sun, with a bit of wind as well.
As I type this - I'm listening to the rain and hail battering the windows   :D
11 was the high today  :)

I live in west central Scotland - not where that photo is...

Cumbria has had the same as you Fairygirl. Really dry and hot , then some welcome rain then when most folk on here were suffering a wet summer we were enjoying a heatwave.
    Now it's wet!

All topsy turvy for us in the west @Woodgreen :)
East is generally drier up here, but they had the wet summer.
I'm just hoping this isn't going to be the pattern though. The summer was far too hot for me. Hopeless  :D

I haven't been to Cumbria for many years. Had several nice holidays there.  :)

The heat was a bit much, ( some long lunch breaks....) but it's the dry that I loved. Missing it now.

Plants looked like they do in magazines.
    Upright.
  • I've got to come clean I have a 5 pack and there's only ever2 left by the time jobs for the weekend comes up.
This made me properly snort with laughter. I am an utter liability around a multipack too.

You mean you'd still have 2 left @barry island?  Very impressive.... :D
The dry weather was good @Woodgreen, but I had to be inside a lot, and up early to get out for a walk.  :)
