  • I have had real success with penstemon and hebe, rosemary failed dismally, new to trying propagation but will keep at it, so nice when something starts shooting - trying fig at the moment, put the cuttings in the autumn and they are looking good, keep going

    It frightens me too but I have had success with ferns ,hostas ,grasses and gazanias and irises and sedums. Come to think of it, I have no idea why it frightens me!

  • They are very hardy in my experience so now would be fine as long as you water back in well and it's not frosty for a few days after. I am planting several tomorrow but these are small plants in pots. When dividing at this time of year I cut off the older leaves and any that are frost damaged etc. They are great value plants that keep on giving 👍
