Moss in my lawn

Hello please can some advise me, I have moss in my lawn, I am wandering if I rake out the moss and put lawn seed down now (March) will it grow in time for summer, I have a limited budget so don’t really want to relay a new lawn as it is about 50 feet long and 20 ft wide which may be quite expensive. Thank you in advance for any advice. 👌

Moss is a sign of poor drainage. So even if you rake it out now it will come back.

Follow this regime to perk up your lawn. Hi thank you for the advice, I spent all day yesterday raking out the dead grass and moss. I will follow the 12 week steps. Hopefully my lawn will recover nicely.
