Free echinacea seeds

None of my free echinacea seeds have propagated. Is this a bad batch? Anyone else had same problem?

I sowed mine in the last couple of weeks - both this year's free pack and last year's free pack (which I never got round to sowing last year). They were on a north-west facing windowsill that stays around 15-20 degrees.  Both germinated in a matter of days; same for the dahlias we received last month.
  • Dahlias have germinated fine alongside on windowsill in conservatory. Nothing in echinacea tray 😩

How long ago did you sow them?
  • About 3 weeks
  • I’m now wondering if I actually put any in! 😂

The echinacea took about a week longer than the dahlia to germinate.  They are still tiny compared to the dahlias though.
  • Put both my echinacea and dahlia same time, dahlia's are well up, echinacea are just showing.

  • I've planted both and they both germinated too, Echinacea seem to be pretty slow growers, but they're getting there.  Mine were in a seed propagator on my bedroom window!

My small concervatory has been absolutly full of plants the dalhia'a have done especially
well. I have never grown from seed before, now they need to go out before they outgrow the pots. I have been giving pepper plants to anyone who will take them. I would not have bothered if it wasnt for the free seeds from Gardeners world. it has sparked my interest in gardening/
