    If you mean those tiny alliums, I heartily agree. There's so many in one of my beds, it looks like a patch of grass😒

    A. Purple Sensation used to self seed in my last ( sandy ) garden and I loved them.

    Not the same plant. This one looks grassy, about a foot high, with a few creamy whitish pinkish flowers and then a couple of red seeds.

    I've had aquilegias seed into the middle of clumps of Hostas and only notice them in the second year (once they've sent down a stubborn tap root )

    Don't use bark mulch in the borders and cover the grit you have put around the hostas to protect them.  Slugs love the bark bridges!
