Saveable weeping fig?

Today my elderly father have given me a very poorly weeping fig (?). It was my mother’s and is at least 15 years old. It’s probably been unwatered for months, but I’m also thinking it’s old and pot bound.  Can she be saved do you think?

  • Yes, it does look to be in need of repotting. But weeping figs are notoriously unhappy about being moved. I'd recommend giving it fertiliser and lots of TLC until it has got more leaves on. Then try and repot. If it continues to do poorly in the spot where you have it, try somewhere else. They seem to be quite unhappy with draughts. If they love you, they love you!

Thank you Cambridgerose. I have given it a good water with soluble miriclegro and will keep fingers crossed :)
