Bit of a long shot, but does anyone know what the plant was in 'Behind Her Eyes' Garden?

Whilst watching 'behind her eyes' on Netflix, I saw a plant I really liked the look of in Adele's garden, but have no idea what it was.  

To try and describe, it was a tall plant (circa 8ft) on long tall bare arching stems with a kind of fuzzy top.  Not sure if it was pruned to this shape, or this was its natural habit.

Closest thing I could describe it as would be a bit like a cross between pampass grass and bamboo.  

I know this is a bit vague, but you never know, someone might be able to tell me what it was!!

    ..have a look at images of Salix caprea 'Kilmarnock' and see if it's anything like that..

    Your description sounds a bit like Arundo donax or Miscanthus sacchariflorus

    @malorena - sorry that's not it.  I would have said it was more like a very tall grass with a substantial head that a tree, but thanks for suggesting

    A type of pseudopanax? Sorry, haven't seen the programme you're referring to. Can you take a screen shot?

    I thought it looked like Bamboo 

    The ending of it was unexpected. A twist which I did not figure out
