Shrub ID

Hello,

Can anyone identify this beautiful shrub.  It is a deciduous shrub as at the moment it is has no leaves.

    Difficult to tell from that photo but try looking up Weigela.
    A trowel in the hand is worth a thousand lost under a bush.

    That is a good shout Bob. I was fooled into thinking it was something different as it is such as huge shrub now

    It's a magnificent specimen, whatever it is. :)
