my wife purchased 2 plants costing £60 from this company she has tried to contact them for a refund after sending photos of the product and carrying out tests on the plants but they just do not reply i think they are a scam site and would advise anyone not to use them Andrew

    Very disappointing for you Andrew.
If you paid by credit card, at least you could likely get a refund from the card issuer

I just received 5 Veronica from them today funnily enough, all seem healthy and decent sized. Have got 5 hydrangeas arriving in a few days, will let you know how they are

@Jellyfire If your hydrangeas when they arrive are anything like the two I received you will be greatly impressed.  :) I posted earlier on this thread about how good they were.
Sadly a later order (not a hydrangea) wasn't so good and I appear to have lost it but hopefully it will grow back next year.  :)

@Jellyfire Interested as to whether you were pleased with your hydrangeas when they arrived. Mine have done well but not sure yet whether they will flower this year. Hoping so.  :)

They were very hit and miss actually, 3 decent plants, and 3 that were pretty poor. Theyve all done ok in pots, but they were a bit smaller than I expected, they were in 1.5 litre pots, but I think they could quite easily have been in 9cm pots really

@Jellyfire That sounds strange compared to what I received. Mine were like a mature bush which had been cut right down and one was extremely heavy to carry. They are both in the ground now. There was no way they could have survived in a pot of any kind. Maybe they are a bit of a hit and miss company to deal with.
    Thanks for getting back.  :)

My experience with them have been good so far. Bought a Dwarf Hungarian Lilac in 1ltr pot (together with some other stuff) from them, arrived as a 1m tall relatively mature plant. Paid same price (£6) for a Syringa meyeri Pablibin from JParkers, arrived as a 15cm plant in a 9cm pot (as advertised, so no complaint). Guess it's because it's end-of-season sale, so plants quality may vary a bit. But overall all quite healthy in my case. Dispatch took relatively long though but can understand given the sale.
  • I buy from them regularly because the price is good.  They are mostly hit but a few misses.  It is possible to phone them - I have several times - despite them saying they don't have a telephone service.  I can't remember how I finally got the right number.  I have wondered if the problem might be that some orders are dispatched directly from them whereas others are supplied by THEIR suppliers.  Hence the variation in packaging.
