We bought news plants last year and Hubby made a raised bed, keep them away from the slugs, varieties that you could allow to crop the first year. I also have a weekly gardening mag, says 2-3 years, and don't re-plant in the same place after that. We have some in window boxes on the edge of a raised pond, they don't get fed, watered when I remember, they are alpine type and very sweet, not very big, have been there at least 5 years

I have finished and am quite chuffed that it is all done. Now it is waiting... to see if there are any strawberries later!!
