Slim borders

Hello all, I'm looking for some ideas for what plants to put in my very slim border between retaining walls. See pictures, it's a sunny spot but only about 30cm wide and 60cm deep. There are currently three patio roses planted there but I would really like to fill it up. Thanks

    I had an osteospurnum that spread well flowered continuously if dead headed and would flop over the brick wall.

    Good thing about osteos is that they are easy to root from cuttings in water so if you know anyone you could get some for free.
    If it wasn't so sunny I'd have a row of heuchera!
    For a sunny spot I'd go for aubretia because I love those mounds of bright colours. I'd also maybe put some crocosmia but I'm not sure if they tolerate drying out.
    Depends what you want! Asters (forgot name change) for late summer/autumn colour.

    smaller nepeta, or helianthemum would work too

    Thank you so much! Ideally I would like a combination of something taller and possibly evergreen combined with pretty and possibly trailing.... I do like grasses for texture as well. Any combo planting ideas?

    stipa tenuissima would be ok there and some euonymus for evergreens

    Well, something taller would be linaria purpurea but don't pay for it! Lots of people see it as a weed since it seeds freely, but I like the tall spikes of purple flowers and so do the bees. Another thing that somebody you know could give you for free.
