  • Dave, thanks for the link. My cable was mostly  at the proper depth.it came up to 75mm below the surface (where it got hit) then dived back down to go under the concrete slab.
    I asked the engineer to buried it deeper but refused. But they did give me enough  slack to get someone else to do it. In doing so  I have it less chance that it will be hit again. But it did cost £400 to do it.
