YEW BERRIES - PRUNE

I have a yew hedge with male and female yew plants so get berries.

When should I not prune this to ensure that I do not remove the flowers and subsequent berries? I want to keep them on the plant for birds to eat.

When is best to clip a yew for wildlife?
